The Western Gala is our signature fundraising event that enables us to support local causes, programming and scholarships. Hundreds of attendees join annually in their most creative western attire for a night of fun, dancing and Linktinis in support of San Antonio Youth Scholarships and HBCU Endowments.

History of the Western Gala
The San Antonio Chapter of the Links Incorporated had their first Western Gala in 2000. Over time, this event has become the signature fundraiser of the organization. The Western Gala has traditionally been held during the month of February to coincide with San Antonio’s Rodeo that celebrates the traditions of the cowboy.
The Western Gala is held at Pedrotti’s each year. The members and guests dress in western attire and have enjoyed dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions and casino games. Over $200,000 has been raised to support the many community service activities and scholarships to aide graduating students pursue a college education.
